At Rent & Event, the foundation of our community is built on trust, where individuals rely on one another as they share sensitive information and access private properties for rental purposes. This mutual trust is essential for fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all members.

A crucial aspect of establishing this trust involves the verification of our Hosts’ identities. Our identity verification process is designed to ensure that the Hosts within our community are authentic, allowing everyone to engage with Rent & Event with greater assurance. Although we do not directly verify the identities of renting guests, we strongly encourage Hosts to utilize various tools to confirm the identities of their guests before granting access to their properties.

While no verification process can be entirely foolproof, our approach aims to reduce the risk of fraudulent activities, enhance safety, and facilitate genuine interactions within our community. It is important to note that, despite these measures, we cannot guarantee that individuals are exactly who they claim to be.

To make the renting process as straightforward and unobtrusive as possible for Hosts, we do not disclose full venue addresses in the listings and maps. All communication is conducted through our secure internal messaging system until a booking is finalized. 

The policies regarding rescheduling or cancelling bookings differ from one Host to another. Each Host establishes these guidelines based on their specific operational needs. It is essential to check the individual rules outlined in each listing, as they can vary significantly. Always ensure to verify details when engaging in communication with a Host.

Hosts can set different rules and availability for viewing their venues. Be sure to check the specific details about the viewing and booking process in each listing, and reach out to the Host directly to schedule a viewing. Although we don’t play a role in this process, we encourage Guests to share their experiences by leaving reviews and informing others about their experiences.

Rent & Event Booking Fee – 1% per booking

Service fee help Rent & Event run smoothly and cover the costs of products and supportive services, including:

  • Rent & Event website maintenance
  • Hosting cost
  • Security and plugin renewals
  • Processing platforms
  • Support
  • Hosts Verification

Hosts are accountable for processing refunds based on the cancellation and refund policies they establish for their listings. These rules are determined by each Host and can differ significantly. Hosts create these policies in alignment with their business practices. Always ensure to verify details when engaging with a Host. Please note that Rent & Event 1% service fee is non-refundable.
